SG Eco Fund
The S$50 million SG Eco Fund was launched by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment to support the co-creation of solutions for a sustainable Singapore. The Fund is open to the People, Private and Public (3P) sectors and aims to support ground-up projects that involve the community and advance environmental sustainability in Singapore. Projects across a broad range of areas related to sustainability, including climate change mitigation, waste reduction, as well as the conservation of nature and biodiversity, are supported.
3R Fund
The 3R Fund is a co-funding scheme to encourage organisations to reduce waste disposed of at NEA’s incineration plants and disposal facilities through the implementation of waste minimisation and recycling projects.
Call for Ideas Fund
The Call for Ideas Fund aims to help applicants kickstart projects that seek to resolve an environmental challenge in the local community. These projects should seek to encourage the community to make environmentally responsible choices through outreach and education efforts.
Our Singapore Fund
The Our Singapore Fund supports active citizens who wish to take initiative to meet community needs, strengthen community spirit, and contribute to nation-building. We look for initiatives that a) strengthen national identity, b) foster social mixing, and c) have the potential to sustain or even scale up over time.
For Youths
National Youth Fund
The National Youth Fund supports ground-up youth initiatives to champion community and social causes through partnerships with Youth Sector Organisations (YSO) including youth social enterprises, schools, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) and other community partners.
Young Change Makers Grant
Young Change Makers is a by youth, for youth programme that empowers youth curators in the grant making process and support other youths to take action to benefit the Singapore community and society.
Youth Action Challenge
The Youth Action Challenge is a platform for youth to provide solutions that tackle the issues around identified pillars - including Energy Reset and Sustainable Living Pillars of the Green Plan.
For Schools
Environment Fund for Institutes of Higher Learning/Schools
The Environment Fund for Institutes of Higher Learning (EFIHL) is a grant to support youth-driven environment projects in the publicly-funded IHLs and to encourage the setup of new environment groups in these IHLs. The Environment Fund for Schools (EFS) encourages MOE schools to champion environmental ownership and a pro-environment mindset amongst students and the community by leading and organising environmental initiatives.
For Businesses
Enterprise Sustainability Programme
The Enterprise Sustainability Programme supports Singapore companies, especially SMEs, to build capabilities and capture new opportunities around sustainability. Enterprise Singapore will set aside up to S$180 million for the programme, which is expected to benefit at least 6,000 enterprises over the next four years. The programme will support training workshops, capability and product development projects, and key enablers such as certification and financing.
Energy Efficiency Fund
The Energy Efficiency Fund supports efforts of businesses with industrial facilities to improve energy efficiency (EE). Encourage investors of new industrial facilities or major expansions in Singapore to integrate resource efficiency improvements into manufacturing facility development plans early in the design stage.
Water Efficiency Fund
PUB’s Water Efficiency Fund encourages organizations to seek out efficient and innovative ways to manage their water demand. From companies intending to conduct water efficiency assessment to identify potential areas to improve water efficiency in their premises, to companies that are exploring feasibility of recycling projects and, companies who would like to implement recycling projects or adopt water efficient equipment, the funding categories would cover all stages from exploratory to actual implementation and co-fund projects that would enable companies to conserve water and improve water efficiency in their premises.
Skyrise Greenery Incentive Scheme (SGIS) 2.0
To increase greenery provision in Singapore, the National Parks Board introduced the Skyrise Greenery Incentive Scheme where the agency will fund up to 50% of installation costs of rooftop greenery and vertical greenery. SGIS 2.0 is the enhanced version of the incentive scheme which features a revised maximum cap for both rooftop greenery and vertical greenery.
Building Retrofit Energy Efficiency Financing (BREEF) scheme
The BREEF scheme, facilitated by BCA and participating financial institutions, offer financing to pay the upfront costs of energy retrofits of existing buildings, through an energy performance contract arrangement. BREEF can cover the cost of equipment, installation and professional fees.
Sustainable Bond Grant Scheme
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)’s Sustainable Bond Grant Scheme encourages the issuance of green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked bonds in Singapore and is open to first-time and repeat issuers.

Agri-food Cluster Transformation (ACT) Fund
The Agri-food Cluster Transformation (ACT) Fund supports local farmers in their efforts to expand production capability, boost yield, raise productivity, sustainability and improve circularity of resource use.
Maritime Singapore Green Initiative (MSGI)
The Maritime Singapore Green Initiative seeks to reduce the environmental impact of shipping and related activities and to promote clean and green shipping in Singapore. In 2011, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) pledged to invest up to S$100 million over 5 years in the Maritime Singapore Green Initiative.

Built Environment Accelerate to Market Programme
The Built Environment Accelerate to Market Programmewas set up to bring inventors and companies together to fast-track the innovation process to solve real world industry challenges.
Cities of Tomorrow Research and Development (R&D) Programme (CoT)
The Cities of Tomorrow R&D Programme (CoT) is a multi-agency effort led by Ministry of National Development (MND) to identify challenges that cities face and develop R&D solutions to address the challenges. A total of $150 million in funding has been set aside for CoT from the $900 million allocated to the Urban Solutions and Sustainability (USS) domain under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2020 (RIE2020).
Low Carbon Energy Research Funding Initiative
The LCER FI aims to develop low-carbon energy technologies in the domains of hydrogen and carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS), to support the decarbonisation of the power and industry sectors. Technologies should be cost-effective and deliver carbon abatement for Singapore, with the intention to be commercialised/deployed beyond the project timeline.
Waste to Energy (WTE) Test-bedding & Demonstration Funding Initiative
The Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Test-bedding and Demonstration Funding Initiative aims to incentivise industry and IHLs to collaborate and translate their R&D outcomes into pilot scale or demonstration projects. Applicants may select any suitable premises to test-bed or demonstrate their WTE technologies. NEA encourages applicants to tap on the plug-and-play features of the recently completed Nanyang Technological University’s (NTU) WTE Research Facility (WTERF), which is co-developed and co-funded by NEA.
